Triple-layer insulation: Polyester film inside, outer layers TufQuin® (inorganic glass-fibre substrate).

Properties
  • insulation class F (155 °C) in accordance to IEC 626; for use in UL-Insulating systems up to class (200 °C)
  • UL recognized
  • high resistance to tear initiation and good elongation characteristics
  • excellent bonding performance to impregnating resins, despite the smooth surface
  • good thermal conductivity
Applications
  • slot insulation, slot closure and interleaving winding in electrical drives and generators
  • layer insulation in dry type transformer
Delivery forms
  • in rolls approx. 900 mm wide
  • in reels minimum width 5 mm
  • in sheets
  • stamping parts, precasted slot liners and slot closures
